She was predeceased by : her parents, Herbert Blanks and Ollie Faye Blanks; her husband William "Bill" Cleek; and her siblings, Jean Mauldin and Chuck Blanks.

She is survived by : her daughters, Christene Peek (John) of Waynesboro and Cathlene Carpenter of Hephzibah; her grandchildren, William Peek (John Lynch) of Chicago, IL, Amanda Cobb (Garrett) of Richmond Hill, GA, Stevie Carpenter Lowe of Martinez and Heather Carpenter (Andrew Hurlburt) of Mineral, VA; and her great grandchild Aiden Lowe of Martinez.

A graveside service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Hillcrest Memorial Park (2700 Deans Bridge Rd, Augusta, GA 30906).
