He was predeceased by: his parents, Dykins McBurney, Sr. and Nina Katherine James McBurney; his sister Nanette McBurney Rennison; and his daughter Carolyn Elizabeth Dixon. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth D. McBurney; his children, Cynthia Diane Ranck (Bob) of Georgia, Terry Victor McBurney (Jennifer) of Texas, Sheryl Leeker, Scott Leeker of Connecticut and Lisa M. Childers (Buddy) of Augusta; and his caregivers, Wilnesha Mitchell, Layla Cooper, Ashley Frails and Minnie Ellis.
