We are sad to announce that on March 28, 2025, at the age of 87, Douglas J. Salter Sr. of Augusta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Ruth "Mama Ruth" Salter; his parents, Chrystal Salter and Susie Salter; and his siblings, Bobby Salter and Mickey Salter.
He is survived by: his son Douglas Jerome Salter, Jr. (Annette); his grandchildren, Mary Salter, Caitlyn Salter (Brandon Sapp), Lauren Salter, Justin Salter, Crystal Glosser and Richelle Chapple; his great grandchild Manuel Salgado; his niece Robin Monaco; his nephew Bobby Salter, Jr. (Helouise); and his daughter-in-law Tiffany Salter.
