We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2025, Dorothy Lowery Burley of Augusta, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Prince Burley Sr.; her children, Prince Burley Jr. (Ruth), Douglas Burley, Ronald Burley, Sherri Curtis, Benita Harden (Ronald), Crystal Burley and Marie Burley; her son-in-law Verneal Evans; her siblings, Thomas Lowery and Frances Cartwright; and her sisters-in-law, Mattie Lowery and Ann Holliman Lowery. She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (2945 Old Tobacco Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Williams Memorial C. M. E. Church (1630 15th St, Augusta, GA 30901).
