He is survived by: his wife Melissa Carter; his parents, Juanita Chinn and Elijah Carter; his children, Daverio Carter Jr., Carlton Brock, Neshauntonia Carter, Stormi Brock and Constance Dunbar; his brothers, Ronrico Carter, Neito Carter and Perenco Carter; his grandchildren, Kelsi, Kairo Lewis, Journi, Kason and Kari Dingle; and his niece Ruby-Ann Drayton. He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Pure Gospel Community Church (1910 Division St, Augusta, GA 30904).
