He is survived by: his girlfriend Lou Engler Larkin; his brother Frederick Toole Larkin; his children, Christopher Joseph Larkin, Morgan Sheppard Larkin and Catherine Maryanne Larkin; his daughters-in-law, Danielle Bernard Larkin and Shelby Smeak Larkin; his grandsons, Reece Christopher Larkin and Sheppard Michael Larkin; and also Trevor Patterson.
