She was predeceased by: her parents, William Thomas Kelley (Bill) and Jeanette Helms Kelley. She is survived by: her husband Frank Andrews; her children, Richie Andrews (Julie), Holly Andrews and Ryan Andrews (Mary); her grandchildren, Kate and Meg Andrews; her siblings, Tom Kelley (Sandy) and Leslie Polatty (Mills); her nieces and nephews, Anna Kelley Chapman (Josh), Katheryn McMahon (Marc), Matt Kelley and Mike Kelley (Amanda); her cousin Caroline Polatty; and her friends, Kathy Bell and Linda Fry.
She then taught at Augusta Reading Foundation (teaching reading was a passion of hers), and later at North Harlem Elementary.
