He was predeceased by: his parents, James C. Lovett and Julia Ward Lovett; and his grandchild Charlie Augustus "Cal" Lovett III. He is survived by: his wife Lanell Dill Lovett; his sons, Charlie "Chip" Lovett, Jr. (Alice), Marcus Lovett (Carla) and Anthony Lovett (Debbie); his grandchildren, Amber Royal (Donnie), Carter Gűt (Josh), Dakota Lovett (Lindsey), Molly Horton (Chase) and Erin Lovett; his great grandchildren, Cal Royal and Riley Gűt; his stepgranddaughter Brittany Trapp; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Brice Trapp, Brinslee Trapp and John Bently Wilson.
