He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Jones Arnette and Charlie Sikes Arnette. He is survived by: his son Shawn Arnette; and his siblings, Lester Sikes Arnette, Loren Arnette (Nancy), James Arnette (Brenda) and Peggy Harmon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors (2502 Richmond Hill Rd, Augusta, GA 30906). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Midway United Methodist Church. A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Dorough Cemetery.
