He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Rushing and Dorothy Mikell Rushing. He is survived by: his sons, Chuck (Toni Rushing), Richard (Lisette Rushing) and Steve (Angel Rushing); his grandchildren, Christina Thompson, Jonathan Rushing, Tanoa Whittemore, Eli Rushing and Kendra Hendrixson; his great grandchildren, Oaklyn Whittemore, Kaelyn Thompson, Jacob Thompson and Kayden Hendrixson; and his brothers, Paul Rushing and Mike Rushing (Kathy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
