Celso Lopez Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Celso Lopez of Augusta, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 21, 2024 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Lopez and Alberto Lopez; and his wife Lucia Otilia Lopez. He is survived by: his siblings, Renee Barnett, Elvira Porras (Luis), Guillermo and Roman (Delia); his children, Celso Lopez, Jr., Virginia D'Uva and Giannina (CO); and his great grandchildren, Diego, Mateo and Roman. He is also survived by nine siblings, four brothers and 5 sisters.
He and Mom were loved by the Peruvian and Latin American community for their contribution to keeping their Peruvian culture alive in the Washington, D.C. area.
