It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil Coakland Williams of Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on February 24, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son John Michael Williams; and his siblings, Jesse Williams, Sarah Duggan, Margaret Payton, Kenneth Williams, Clifford Williams, Buford Williams and Joe Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Anne Dixon Williams; his son Robert "Jerry" Williams (Karen); his sister Mary Williams Hall; his grandchildren, Heather N. Wilson (Bobby), Jonathan A. Williams, Rebecca L. Williams and Jason E. Williams (Amee); and his great grandchildren, Kaelyn Baker, Ryleigh Baker, Mariah Wilson, Peyton Williams, Shelby Reinhart, Braelyn Wigley, Eliana Williams, Sydali Williams and Indelwynn Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other extended family, church family and friends.
