He is survived by: his wife June Lanier Rooks of Augusta, GA; his daughters, Jane Poston (Cliff), Jill Turner (Chad) and Julie Phelan (Mike); his grandchildren, Thomas Perrie (Kathryn), William Perrie, Ren Turner (Brittany), Sam Turner (Sarah), Madison Turner (Maggie), Adeline Carroll (Caleb), Grace Phelan, Kevin Phelan and Patrick Phelan; and his sister Martha Rooks Bird of Metter, GA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
