She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Pruitt and Bessie Pruitt; her son Joseph B. Murrah, Jr.; her close friend Bob German; and her brothers, Clyde William Pruitt and Broadus Pruitt.

She is survived by: her children, David Murrah (Karen Greiner), Jim Bauer, Judy Entz (John Entz) and Sissy Murrah; and her grandchildren, Macie Holstein, Nathan Boschmann, Roland Boschmann and Darrick Boschmann. She is also survived by three great grandchildren.
