She was predeceased by: her husband Stewart Phinizy Walker Jr.; her son Stewart Phinizy Walker III; her siblings, Mildred Salter, Joyce Jones, Bobby Moose, Samuel Cowan and Tommy Cowan; her niece Suzette Adams; and her nephew Hugh Salter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Walker Boyd (Joe) and Julia Walker Hickman (Mike); her grandchildren, Jim Boyd, Elizabeth Shannon (Bryan), Walker Boyd, Virginia Boyd, Brooks Duncan (Jeremy), Sarah Daniel, Corey Hickman (Alyssa) and Brianna Hickman; and her great grandchildren, Carson Towler, Phinizy Towler, Beckham Hickman, Marleigh Shannon, Maggie Shannon and Billie Boyd.
