He is survived by: his daughters, Deidre Davis, Pearl Jackson (Jabari) and Siyrra Johnson; his mother Mattie Royal; and his siblings, Fredrick Tyler and Tracy Tate (James). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
A memorial service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Zion AME Zion Church (1237 Summer St, Augusta, GA 30901).
