She is survived by: her sons, James Tolbert (Alice), Travis Sloans (Kimberly), Marcel Sloans (Andrea) and Carl Sloans; and her siblings, Franklin Tolbert (Diane), Barbara Ivey, Mary Fennell (Rodney), Charlotte McBride, Sandra Brinson (Deek), Glenda McBride, Vernon McBride, Sr., Freddie McBride (Teresa), Kenneth McBride and Anthony Freeman. She is also survived by her twenty-six grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the C. A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home (314 Laney Walker Blvd A, Augusta, GA 30901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the South View Cemetery (1102 Nellieville Rd, Augusta, GA 30901).
