She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Beard, Sr. and Georgia Atlee Beard; her husband Fred Harris; and her daughter Yolanda Peel. She is survived by: her children, Barbara Bennett (Lenny) of Westley Chapel, FL and Donald Harris (Susan) of Philadelphia, PA; and her granddaughter Keysha Harris. She is also survived by grand-children, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the C. A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home (314 Laney Walker Blvd A, Augusta, GA 30901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 3:45 PM to 4:00 PM at the Walker Memorial Park (620 Laney Walker Blvd, Augusta, GA 30901).
