He is survived by: his wife Diana Daws; his daughter Amy Starnes (Steve); his granddaughters, Samantha and Emma Starnes of Gainesville, GA; his mother Helen Cooper Preston of Statesboro, GA; his brothers, James Lane Preston (Connie) and Prince H. Preston (Tracy); and also Chris Westbrook.
