She was predeceased by: her parents, Moses Edward Hendrix and Beulah Marr Hendrix; her spouse R. H. Burel; her siblings, Lorena Hendrix Holston and Carey Hendrix; and her grandparent Jamie Bradley (David).
She is survived by: her children, Wanda B. Hawthorne (David), Robert E. Burel and Michael M. Burel (Michael); her granddaughter Alana Doster Sparks (Derrick); her great grandchildren, Kyle Curott, Kendall Sparks and Sydni Sparks; and her great great grandchild Sunnie Sparks. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Carter Funeral Home (265 GA Hwy 211, Winder, GA 30680). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Carl Baptist Church (1588 Carl-Bethlehem Rd, Auburn, GA 30011). A burial was held on Tuesday, September 17th 2024 at the Auburn Cemetery (1397 3rd Ave, Auburn, GA 30011).
