She is survived by: her children, Carl Ayers, Jr. (Ann), Janice McGee, Betty Emerson Marsha Holloway (Gene), Lesley Ayers and Elaine Ayers; and her siblings, Jean Johnson (Jack), Christine Smith, Lamar Gittens (Jean) and David Gittens. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren.
