He is survived by: his wife Kathy Shelnutt; his children, Kayla Russ (Jeremy) of Auburn, Michael Shelnutt (Cindy) of Athens and Tammy Wallace of Winterville; his brothers, Roger Shelnutt of Alabama and Dan Shelnutt of Peachtree City; and his grandchildren, Devin Shelnutt, Kayse Bentley, Erin Bentley, Jackie Russ of Jordan Russ, J. J and Woogie.
