He is survived by: his wife Shirley Cook of Auburn; his daughter Pamela Everett of Granite Falls, NC; his grandchildren, Amanda, Joel Barnes, Brandy, Howard Bagwell, Billy and Stacey Gaddis; and his great grandchildren, Justin Patrick, Gabriel Barnes, Nyssa Barnes, Danika Barnes, Cody Bagwell, Bryson Bagwell and Tristan Gaddis.
