He is survived by: his wife Doris Wood of Auburn; his son David J. Wood of Athens; his grandchildren, Kourtni Muse of Auburn and Cory Muse; and his great grandchildren, Korina Muse, Cory Muse Jr., Johnathan Muse and John Spears.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Byrd & Flanigan Crematory and Funeral Service (288 Hurricane Shoals Rd NE, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
