He was predeceased by: his wife Miriam Ruth Siewert; and his son George Daniel Siewert, IV. He is survived by: his children, Timothy Patrick Siewert, Michael Christopher Siewert, David John Siewert, Jennifer Anne Fonde and Steven Edward Siewert; and his sister Kathy Martin. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

“Dan had been on my mind for the last few weeks. I tried to text him and just had a feeling and googled him. So so sorry to hear of his passing. He loved all his children, grand children and great grandchildren so much. Each time we did talk, first 30 minutes was bragging rights... He had to all of you. He was a dear friend and so many wonderful, funny memories. I will miss him much and his crazy laugh but most of all his friendship. My prayers are with you all. Joyce reuther”
