She was predeceased by: her husband Beacher Ernest Gillis (Pert); and her brothers, B. H., Douglas, Edgar and Kenneth Brumbeloe.

She is survived by: her children, Jane Turpin (Jim), Laura Bennett (Mark) and Ernest Gillis (Michelle); her grandchildren, Jason Turpin (Michelle), Jeffrey Turpin (Danielle), Jessica Denmeade (Tyler), Rachel Rentz (Chris), Leah Johnson (Quinten) and Nicole Rios (Felix); her great grandchildren, Evie and Emma Turpin; and her grandchildren, Abbie, Caleb, Ezra, Asa Turpin, Hudson, Parker Denmeade, Landon, Noah Rentz, Jaeyoung and Kai Johnson. She is also survived by brother-in-law and sister-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
