Virgil Lamar Finuff Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgil Lamar Finuff of Attapulgus, Georgia, born in Defuniak Springs, Florida, who passed away on July 16, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerry Finuff and Hancy Dockins Finuff; his wife Evelyn Faircloth Finuff; his siblings, Ben Finuff, Hazel Duggar, Dorothy Holland, Bernadine Finuff and Bevery Duncan; his grandson Evan Lashley; his great grandchild Audrey Finuff; and his son-in-law Rex Wade, Sr..
He is survived by: his children, Quinton L. Finuff of Attapulgus and Peggy F. Wade of Attapulgus; and his grandchildren, Lamar, Amanda, Alaina, Daniel, Timothy and Garrett. He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a graveside funeral service will be held at Attapulgus Baptist Church Cemetery on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 10:00 a. m. with Rev. Harold Burrell officiating.
