She was predeceased by: her husband Paul William Lunger; her son Leonard Lunger; her brothers, Lamar "Buddy" Newberry and Marvin Newberry; her grandchildren, Lisa Sloan and Richard Sloan; and her great grandchild Lisa Corine Minchin.
She is survived by: her parents, Sam Newberry and Minnie Adel Cleveland Newberry; her daughters, Patricia Sloan of Attapulgus, GA and Mary Nell Ritter of Cairo, GA; her siblings, Laverne Cook of Baconton, GA, Shirley N. Gibson (Raymond) of Leesburg, GA, Nadine N. Sheasly (Russ) of Pennsylvania and Carlton Newberry (Jennie) of Baconton, GA; her grandchildren, Katie, Terry, Amy, Jenna, Emily and Bryson; and her great grandchildren, Jamie, Kori, Hanna, Tyler, Shannon, Hailee, Abigail, Terry, Owen, Stella and Evie.
