We are sad to announce that on July 16, 2023, at the age of 44, Wesley David Chavis of Atlanta, Georgia, born in Goldsboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Dr. Bridgid Lammers Chavis; his sons, Samuel, James and Lyle; his parents, Richard Chavis and Cathy Chavis of Pike Road, AL; his sister Ashley Chavis (Devin Vermeulen); his nieces and nephews, June, Bobbie Vermeulen, Oscar Vermeulen and Tristan Palmer; his grandparents, Sara Maloney of Murfreesboro, TN and William S. Chavis of Foley, AL; and his friend Wes. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins.
