She is survived by: her children, Damon Heard (Denise) and Dana Heard (Jasmine); her close friend John Hoskins; her former husband Dennis Broner; her siblings, James M. Heard Jr., Gary Heard, Alicia Heard Pullman, Yvonne Heard-Moton (Robert) and Karen McPhee (Alvin); and her grandchildren, Darla Mae, Damon Jr., Damonni, Katelynn, Aniya and Salleana. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
