He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wallace Yates and Frances Elizabeth Hobbs. He is survived by: his sister Kathy Senn (Gene); his nieces, Stephanie Carden (James) of Fayetteville, GA, Shannon Jackson and Lisa Phillips of Columbus, GA; and his nephew Wayne Phillips (Sandra). He is also survived by 8 great-nieces, 2 great-nephews, 3 great-great nieces one great-great nephew.
