He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret. He is survived by: his wife Susanne; his children, Allison (Stephen), Justin, Elizabeth and Walter Jr.; his grandchildren, Alexis and Chandler; his sister Emasue; and his sister-in-law Dianne (Tom).
