He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. George Monroe Pickral, Jr. and Edna Moore McCormick Pickral. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathryn Kurzweg Pickral; his children, Kathryn Pickral Wentz, Thomas Monroe Pickral, Jr. (Gregor) and James Robert Pickral (Mary Katherine); his grandchildren, James Wendell Wentz and Mary Kathryn Wentz; and his siblings, James C. Pickral (Diana), Robert M. Pickral (Nancy), Janet P. Moncure (late George V. Moncure) and Elizabeth P. Molino (Gary). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
