It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia May Martin of Atlanta, Georgia, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on October 29, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anna Rita Sabathe and Noah Lawrence Martin; and her siblings, Theo Martin Brennan, Noah Lawrence Martin, Jr. and Sonny.
She is survived by: her significant other John Joseph Caruso; her children, Dorothy Caruso Duplantier and John Caruso; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth LaBorde Caruso; her granddaughter Claire Duplantier Villines; and her great grandchild Eric Martin Villines. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
