He was predeceased by: his father Calvin C. Mathis. He is survived by: his stepfather Cecil R. Franklin; his mother Ida Nette Franklin; his sisters, Diane Kuykendall (Doug) and Kaye Antone (Ronnie); and his stepsister Sandy Erb (Bob). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
