She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Harris and Percy Harris. She is survived by: her children, SaFiyaa Ma'at-Collins (Derrick), Sonya Little, Brandonn Little (Faye), Lauren Owens and Lawrence Owens; her grandchildren, Jazmyn Dailey, Michael Dailey, Lailani Rosado and Zaire Williams; her siblings, Patricia, Michelle, Debra, Sandra, Cynthia, Percy, Vincent and Nathaniel; and her friend Gail Aaron.
