She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Carl of Huntsville and Dr. John Hartness, Jr. (Marilyn) of Savannah, Georgia.; her nieces, Virginia Aldridge (Robert) of Madison, Christine Carl of Huntsville, Katherine Hartness (Jonathan) of Monroe and Cynthia Crane (Michael) of Savannah, Georgia.; and her nephew Andrew Hartness (Marie) of Cambridge.
