She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mildred and Milton; her siblings, Shelley, Donna Gorsen (Melvin Gorsen) and Shelly Lieff; her daughter Cynthia Bowman; her granddaughter Mollie Bowman (Oliver Macklin); her son Aaron Faye (AJ); her granddaughters, Heather, Danielle, Victoria and Katrina Faye; her great grandchildren, McKenzie and Kailey Krane; her son Samuel Faye (Marilyn Faye); her granddaughter Sara Faye; her son Jeremy Faye; and her granddaughters, Celia and Chloe Faye.
An active congregant of Temple Kol Emeth for many years, Sandy spent every Friday of her retirement before the COVID-19 pandemic volunteering in the synagogue's front office and setting up the social hall for oneg Shabbat, and her friends knew to find her every Friday night in the same row of the sanctuary for Shabbat services. The isolation of the pandemic and a subsequent Alzheimer's diagnosis took a toll on Sandy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Sandy's memory to Weinstein Hospice, whose loving and attentive care was a blessing in her final days.
