He was predeceased by: his parent Russell Stuart Greer Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Joan Vonasek; his children, Keith (Shannon) and Krista; his granddaughters, Maren of Atlanta and Emeline of Atlanta; and his sisters, Barbara Agnelli of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Patricia Meade (Ken) of Pamplin, VA and Susan Schmitt (Jeff).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that your make a contribution to The Atlanta Humane Society https://atlantahumane.org where he adopted Precious, the loving companion of his later years, with whom he shared the viewing of many hockey games, and numerous bags of chips.
