He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Juanita Thurman and Frederick Boddie; his uncle Edward "Sonny"; his aunt Mamie Boddie; his brothers, Frederick Boddie, Jr. and Russell Thurman; his sister-in-law Betty Thurman; his children, Veranda Q. Thurman (Dionta Hardeman), Queliba A. Thurman, Marqui Thurman, Quintina Thurman and Rontonio Thurman; his grandchildren, Martez Lee, Marquisha Thurman, Shayron Thurman, Brandon Ammons, Nevar Thurman, Naomi Thurman, Jamari Thurman, Jamiyah Thurman, Dionta Hardeman II, Dior Thurman, Symphonie Hardeman, Journee Gholston and Razi Davis; his great grandchildren, Tauheed "TJ" Thurman, Branch Lee, Madison Lee and McKayla Lee; and his siblings, Yvette Reed (Frank) and Larry Thurman. He was also cherished by nieces nephews, other relatives and friends.
