With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert Philip Zimmer of Atlanta, Georgia, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on January 29, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Joseph Zimmer and Aline Heltz Zimmer; and his sister Evelyn Marie Simon. He is survived by: his wife Martha Ann Flanders; and his children, Robert Philip Zimmer Jr. (Angie), Edward Joseph Zimmer (Doreen), Katherine Claire Neri (Michael), David Manning Zimmer (Cristina), Margery Ann Warfield (Lee) and Martha Patricia White (Hugh). He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren.
