The passing of Rabbi Alvin Marx Sugarman (Atlanta, Georgia) leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 17, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Helene Marx (Meyer Louis Sugarman) and Alvin; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Herman and Barbara Jean Herman. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Sugarman; his daughters, Lanie Kirsch (Greg) and Leah Siegel (Blaine); his grandchildren, Amanda Knock (Phil), Aaron Kirsch (Erica Thomas), Noah Siegel and Ryan Siegel; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Herman and Floyd Herman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family has requested that Alvin's memory be honored with donations to Our House, The Marcus Center for Autism, and The Temple.
