We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2025, Phyllis Arnold (Atlanta, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Gershon and Jeanette Gershon; and her siblings, Elinor Gershon Smith (Al Smith), Herbert Gershon (Evelyn) and David Beeber.
She is survived by: her sister Elaine Beeber; her husband Dr. Joseph Arnold; her children, Leslie Hammond (Richard), Kim Massell (Joanna Stamatiades), Beth Arnold Helmey, Mark Arnold (Julie) and Dan Arnold (Debbie); her grandchildren, Dustin Hammond, Jacob Hammond, Maya Baumeister, Sam Helmey, Hannah Helmey, Jack Arnold, Eva Arnold, Emily Arnold and Lila Arnold; and her caregivers, Comar, Eda and Laree.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ahavath Achim Synagogue (600 Peachtree Battle Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30327). A shiva was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at the Home of Phyllis and Joseph Arnold. A burial was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery (1173 Cascade Cir SW, Atlanta, GA 30311).
