Philip Sunshine Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Philip Sunshine (Atlanta, Georgia), who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Philip Sunshine to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sunshine and Lillie Shemper; his wife Janet Sunshine of Savannah; and his daughter Paula Sunshine. He is survived by: his children, Ilene (Robert Hamburger) and Steven Sunshine (Ann); his son-in-law Bob Kagan; his siblings, Irving Sunshine, Shirley Levin and Florence Bernes; and his sisters-in-law, Dale Barzilay (Zvi), Ann Kaplan and Betty Jacobson. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Ahavath Achim Synagogue (600 Peachtree Battle Ave NW, Atlanta, GA 30327).
