She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. John Henry and Dixie Blalock West; her husband Richard D. Freeman (R. D.); her daughter Cynthia Freeman McBurnett; and her siblings, Jerrie Swanson, Brenda Horsley and Johnny West.
She is survived by: her son Bryan Freeman (Herbert Buffington) of Atlanta; her granddaughters, Aimee L. McBurnett of Atlanta and Olivia D. McBurnett of Atlanta; her brother Jimmy West; and her caregivers, Cynthia Perrymon and Hellen Wandeto. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
