He is survived by: his parents, Stephen Rodgers and Nancy Sherman; his daughter Harper Leigh Rodgers; his brother Patrick; the parent of his child Merideth; and his pet Dixie Belle.

He also received the Bob Cousins Zeal Award for his sustained contributions to the Greater Atlanta Alumni Association.
