It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Ellen Wright in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Davis and Bernice Davis; her husband Fred Wright; her children, Joel Wright and Jean Mapes; and her brother Jerry Davis.

She is survived by: her children, Susan Matlick of Atlanta, GA., Ronald Wright of Lavonia, GA., Robert Wright of Atlanta, GA. and Mark Matlick of La Porte, IN. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, and 9 great - grandchildren.
