She was predeceased by: her husband Bernard Watts Ruth (Bernie); her parents, Elizabeth Ellen and Steve Martin; her daughter Suzy; and her son-in-law Thom Young.
She is survived by: her children, James Stephen Ruth (Meryl Shaw) of Richmond, Kathleen Ann Edden (John) of Jacksonville, Suzanne Marie Young (Thom) of Atlanta and Georgia; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Ruth Edden and Joseph Martin Edden (Joe); her sister-in-law Rosalie Caponiti Ruth (late Betty); her sister Mary Regina; her family, Silver Spring, Houston and Chattanooga; and also Joseph Kane Ruth.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Cathedral of Christ the King, The Wounded Warrior Project, or The Atlanta Humane Society.
