In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Mary Brown had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Mary Brown may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her husband E. Austin Hinely; and her brother Walter U. Brown. She is survived by: her daughter Hannah Tiegreen (Chris); her grandsons, Timothy, Jonathan (Mattie) and Christopher; and her sister-in-law Dr. Lynda Brown. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:15 PM at the Lutheran Church. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donating to the Redeemer Friends of Music program or Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for research on myxofibrosarcoma.
