It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Lee Thorpe of Atlanta, Georgia, born in Richmond, Virginia, who passed away on November 9, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Thorpe and Eula Thorpe. He is survived by: his children, R. Wayne Thorpe of Atlanta and Leslie Weber of Glen Allen; his children-in-law, Jane Thorpe and Dave Weber; his grandchildren, Scott Thorpe (Rachel), Sara Stanley (Ben), Natalie Weber and Nick Weber; his sister Ann Thorpe; his wife Betty Hubbard; and also, Ella Thorpe, Will Thorpe and Cooper Stanley.
